Dog Friendly Lodges

Landal Kielder Waterside is a doggy dream come true. There’s 250 square miles of forest and Northumberland countryside to be sniffed and explored. And from leisurely strolls to fun – filled treks we’ve got routes for paws (and feet) of any size.

For the adventurers on two feet there’s some gorgeous scenery to take in, like the 26 miles of stunning shoreline that make up the Lakeside Way. Use our trails guide to pick which parts of it you would like to walk and watch out for the intriguing pieces of artwork to discover as you go.

Refuel with yummy food at our onsite pub, The Forest Bar & Kitchen, before heading back to your dog-friendly lodge for some well-deserved rest.

A little reminder…
We always welcome dogs within Kielder Water & Forest Park, but please help other visitors have a great visit by keeping your dog under control and ensuring no mess is left. Dogs can be allowed off the lead in the forest, but make sure you know where they are and can call them back if necessary. Dogs should be on a lead in busy public areas such as campsites and visitor centres (different rules apply for each visitor centre), and kept under close control on the lead when near livestock at all times.
